Isoarc 427 is a good combination of resistance to abrasion and impact. The wear resistance of the electrode is superior to standard chromium carbon type electrodes. Many layers can be built without cracking. This may also be used for high temperature applications. Isoarc 427 is easily weldable and can be used in all positions.
Primarc is an Austenitic, rutile basic coated high alloyed Mn-Cr Ni electrode for welding hardfacing Cr and Cr-Ni steels, dissimilar steels and cast irons.
Isoarc 453 is an electrode for hard surfacing of steel components. This is a maintenance electrode for the hard surfacing of service sugar mill rollers. Mostly used on the rollers while the cane crushing process is taking place
ISOARC MC is a rutile coated electrode designed for joining and surfacing 11-14% manganese steels. The deposited weld metal will work harden under impact load to a hardness of 480-590 HV. The electrode is recommended for use in the downhand position.
The specially formulated coating permits welding at low amperage with minimal spatter. The deposit is Austenitic, fully machinable and work hardening. Standard low hydrogen procedures should be applied.
This electrode is easy to use on AC or DC positive polarity. Bead appearance is good, and deposits are non-heat treatable. Hardness is maintained at elevated temperatures. ISOARC 438 restrikes well. The self releasing slag should be removed after each pass
