ISOARC E309L-16 is a premium rutile-coated, low carbon stainless steel electrode designed for welding 23Cr-13Ni stainless steels, joining stainless steel to carbon or low alloy steels, and depositing buffer layers prior to hardfacing or surfacing.
The extra-low carbon weld deposit minimises carbide precipitation, providing excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion while delivering high crack resistance when welding dissimilar materials. Manufactured using internationally proven formulations under an ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISOARC E309L-16 offers a smooth, stable arc, easy restriking, low spatter and excellent slag removal, producing high-quality welds in demanding industrial applications.
