Descriptions
Isoarc 102 is a specially formulated hydrogen controlled electrode, best suited to positional welding of medium carbon steel and some important low alloy steel structures.
Characteristics
Outstanding welding characteristics in all positions.
Applications
Basic type universal electrode for applications involving forging work, fabrication, boiler and pressure vessels construction.
Procedures
For first class results avoid excessive amperage and use AC or DC straight polarity. Use Isoarc 102 with normal low hydrogen techniques. Best results will obtained using medium to short arc. Avoid Weaving.
Redrying
Rebaking should be done at 350-370°C for at least 1 hour.
